S3 Pupils – Immunisation Forms – Could all S3 pupils please get these forms signed and returned to the office no later than 18th January.

S3 Barcelona Trip – Could all S3 pupils going to Barcelona in May please attend a meeting in 2.1 with Mrs. Yellowley on Friday 11th January at 10.40 – interval. It will only take 5 minutes but is very important.

S2 Football – The S2 football team will be playing the next round of the SSFA Plate competition on Wednesday 16th January away to Beath High School.  There is a team sheet on the football notice board in the PE department.  Would all players on the squad list please attend an important meeting on Friday at breaktime in the PE classroom.

A new metalworking club will be starting on Monday 21st January in G10 in the technical department with Mrs Lynch from 1.35 – 2.10.  Come along and learn how to make things from metal – this term we will be concentrating on Jewellery skills where you will learn to form metal, cut and solder and create surface decoration.  If it all goes well, we will be moving on to silversmithing after easter.  All welcome.

S1 Pupils – A reminder that the sign-up sheets for the S1 inter-house table tennis tournament on the 17th and 24th January are on the wall outside the Active Schools office in the new Games Hall facility. Each player can only sign up for 1 of these dates.

All Pupils – Updated extra-curricular club timetables are now displayed throughout the old PE and the new PE facility. If you don’t currently attend a club, both PE and Active Schools staff would love to see you come along and try something new.

Rock Challenge is starting again this Thursday at 4pm in the small girls gym. There is still time to join, if you’re interested in Costume design, Makeup, Hair, Dance, Set design or Lighting/Sound design.

Ultimate Frisbee starts back this Thursday after school, meeting as usual in the old sports hall from 3:45-5pm. Everyone is welcome to come along and give it a try.  For more information speak to Dr Jones (room 2.18).

S1 Football Training will start on Monday 20th January afterschool till 4:45pm. Existing and new players welcome.

If you are interested in volunteering to help with sports club at Perth High School or local primary schools please come along to the P.E classroom in the new P.E building at break time this Friday (11th January). Volunteering is a great way to boost your skills and confidence. We will tell you about what it’s all about and how to get involved.

S5: Dental Insight 2019 – an opportunity to shadow current dentistry students at Dundee Dental School . Applications will be opening on Sunday 10th February at 6pm and will close on Sunday 17th February at 6pm. Pupils who are not successful but do meet requirements will be placed on a waiting list. Further information including eligibility requirements are available from Mrs Martin.
