Friday morning – Because the senior concourse and dining centre will be used for Citizenship Day at morning break no seniors will be able to use these areas.  Seniors may go to the junior dining centre from 10:30.

S6 Pupils – Prom Deposit – To all S6 planning on going to Prom. Deposit of £20 should be paid through parent pay by the 6th November. Cash deposit will be collected at the Assembly Hall during lunchtime on the 5th and 6th of November should you not be able to play by parent pay.

S4 History Revision Skills – S4 History pupils are invited to bring their lunch to a revision skills workshop in the library today. Find out practical steps to enhance revision and make your time count!

Interhouse Top of the Bench – The Chemistry Interhouse “Top of the Bench” will take place on Wed 6th and Thu 7th November at lunchtime. The competition will be based around a practical experiment and will take place in room 2.16 from 1:40-2:10pm.

We are looking for teams of 4 pupils from S2, S3 or S4. If you would like to be part of a team, please speak to your class captain, house captain, Mrs Smith or Dr Jones.

Dodgeball Club – Dodgeball club is on Wednesday lunchtime from 1:30 – 2pm in the old games hall.  All pupils are welcome, PE kit must be worn.

S4/S5 – Automotive opportunities (Vehicle mechanics and vehicle body repair at Perth College): a limited number of places will be available from January year for pupils interested in either vehicle mechanics or body repair to attend Perth College for a number of weeks to experience one or other of these courses, subject to individual timetables. If you are interested and have NOT already given your name to Mrs Martin, please let her know asap.

Christmas Leavers – Automotive: if you are interested in apprenticeships in the automotive industry and maybe thinking of leaving school at Christmas, Perth College have spaces in their three day a week access course from January. From the access course students can enrol on full time courses and progress into work placements/apprenticeships through industry links with the College. If you are interested and would like to find out more, please give your name to Mrs Martin.

Interhouse Football – S1/2 interhouse football takes place this week.  The Balmanno v Elcho qualifying match that was scheduled for Monday and postponed due to the rain will take place on Tuesday lunchtime.  The winner of this match will face Huntingtower and Pitheavlis will face Kinfauns on Wednesday.  The winners of these two matches will play in the final on Thursday.

The S3/4 football takes place next week.  Kinfauns and Huntingtower will face off on Monday in a qualifying match.  The winner of this fixture will play Pitheavlis in a semi-final on Tuesday and Elcho v Balmanno will take place on the same day.  The final will take place on Wednesday.

Matches kick off at 1:30 and both competitions are open to all pupils in the age range – speak to your class captain/house captain to sign up!  The astro will be closed to all other pupils on match days.
