All Pupils – Most extra-curricular clubs will resume this week but it is worth double checking with the staff member who leads each club just to be sure. If you’ve lounged about over the holidays, eaten your body weight in chocolate and feel the need to get moving again then there are many lunchtime and after-school clubs to choose from. When you exercise, this releases endorphins in the brain, (feel good chemicals) therefore, exercise is not only good for your physical health but helps you to maintain positive mental health too! Best of all, you get to meet new people and make new friends. On a Tuesday Volleyball takes place in the New Games Hall with Miss Allan at lunchtime, while Gymnastics is on in the Large Gym, also at lunchtime. After school, Basketball for S1-S2 happens in the New Games Hall with S2-S4 football taking place on the astro-turf. Come along and try something new. Be brave and be bold in 2020.
