Perth High School Junior and Senior Young Musician of the Year entries are open.  Please upload a video of you performing one piece by Tuesday the 9th May to the google classroom appropriate to your year group as below.  Finalists will be notified by the 26th May and should be ready to perform 2 pieces lasting no more than 6 minutes in total in a live final competition in June.

Puzzle Club – Come along and play some board games, all welcome, staff and pupils! You can come on your own or bring a friend with you. We have a variety of different games and would love to see you there. Join us in Room 1.4 from 1.30pm every Wednesday.

Library Closure – From week beginning 24th April the library will be closed from time to time due to exams taking place in the library and us visiting our cluster primaries as part of P7s’ transition. 

We are closed at the following times –

Wednesday 26th April – From lunch
Thursday 27th April – From lunch until end of the day
Tuesday 2nd May – From morning until Period 6
Wednesday 3rd May – All day
Thursday 4th May – From morning until lunchtime
Tuesday 9th May – All day
Wednesday 10th May – All day
Thursday 11th May – From morning until lunchtime
Wednesday 31st May – From lunch until end of the day

Library Staff

Gymnastics Club – A new gymnastics club will start on Wednesday 26th April with Mr McKenzie in P.E.  It will start at 13.35 until 14.05 and will run in the Large Gym, down in the old PE hall.  No experience necessary and everyone is welcome!  Just come along!

Perth High School Sports Day – PHS Sports Day is back! This year we will be hosting our S1-S3 Sports Day at the George Duncan Athletics Track on Thursday 11th May.

You will receive a letter home about this, and it contains the consent form which your parent/guardian must complete and email back to the office or hand back in to attend.

Sign Up sheets are outside the PE Department Base; you must sign up for at least 4 events to attend and the sign-up closes on Friday 5th May. Sign up does not automatically mean you will be able to compete, your behaviour throughout the school will be taken into consideration.
