S1 Football – Senior Pupils S Currie and A Leese (supported by Mr. Murray) will be taking S1 Football after school on a Monday 15:40-17:00 – all interested S1’s please come along. Meet in New Games Hall facility.  All abilities welcome.

Cricket – Richard Rennie, Cricket Development Officer has set up a S1-S6 cricket club on a Tuesday lunchtime 13:30-14:10 in the New Games Hall. All abilities welcome. Mr. Paul, Active Schools.

CLUBS IN THE LIBRARY – Book Club and Sign Club will begin next week for S1-S2 pupils.  Book Club on Wed 15th.  Sign Club on Thurs 16th.  Both Clubs will run from 1.15-1.45 in the Library so bring lunch!  S5/S6 – the Staff/Senior Book Club will begin on Mon 13th at 1.15 also.  See you there!

All Pupils – BOOK FAIR!  Reminder that the Book Fair will close tomorrow, and as of Thurs pm we will no longer be able to order extra copies of popular titles so when they’re gone, they’re gone.  The Book Fair is open for browsing/buying during break and lunch.  See you there!

S2 Pupils – Hydrogen Fuel Cell Challenge – the Schools Hydrogen Project and Challenge for S2 pupils is being held as part of the COP26 Climate Change movement. The Challenge is a hands-on design & build team exercise to create the most energy efficient hydrogen fuel cell vehicle using LEGO components and miniature hydrogen technology. Places will be allocated to pupils with a genuine interest in science, design and technology. If you would like to take part, please register your name with your Science Teacher by Friday 17th September.

Ultimate Frisbee – The PHS Ultimate Frisbee Club starts back this Thursday (9th Sep) in the old sports hall after school (3:45-5pm).

Ultimate Frisbee is a fun, mixed sport and the club is for all ages and abilities. Speak to Dr Jones in room 2.18 (Chemistry) if you are interested or have any questions (if any staff would like to help out, please also contact Dr Jones).

Outdoor Education – Please could anyone who has forgotten their password or struggling to enter their eDofE account,  pop down to the climbing wall office to receive assistance with this during break / lunchtime over the next few weeks.
