Arrangements for P7 Induction Days – Can all prefects please remember the additional duties you will be doing because of induction days? Prefects on break duty should get out of class in time to start duty at half ten for break and 12.45 for lunch in the junior dining centre, 1pm in the senior. Prefects on buses should be at the bus park for 3.30.
New S1 pupils will be in school on Thursday and Friday of this week. Because of this, new S2 pupils should get out of class at 10.30 to use the Senior Dining Centre at break time and 1pm for lunch.
No other pupils should try to use the senior dining centre at this time.
Older pupils should stay away from the Games Hall and Junior Dining Centre at break and lunch time (unless you are a buddy). Any new S1 wanting to see older friends will be able to see them out in the playground when they are ready.
Any member of staff who is free and can come to help supervise the new S1s over the extended lunch would be most welcome.
S4/5/6 – PKC Modern Apprenticeships (MA): the following modern apprenticeships are now open for application on the myjobscotland Perth and Kinross Council website for young people aged 16 and over (or turning 16). The closing date is 16 June:-

Please note that The HUB/ Skills Development Scotland at 31-33 South Street, Perth, are running a dedicated drop in, centered around application support for the above vacancies. The drop in at the South Street offices will be from 2.30pm to 6.30pm this Wednesday 5th June, no appointment needed. Please also speak to your Careers Adviser in school or Mrs Martin for assistance.
S4 Hairdressing Group – All S4 pupils taking the Hairdressing course this season should meet Mr Murray at his office at the start of Period 3 to collect a letter about a visit to the College.
Giant Litter Pick – To those who care about their environment. We will be having a giant litter pick on Monday 24th June. Starting at 2.15pm. We will be joined by other volunteers from the community and the aim is to clean up around the school before the holidays. We are looking for 12 volunteers to spend the afternoon improving our environment, not just for the school but also for the locals and our neighbors in the community. If you are interested come to see Ms Egginton during support time on Monday 10th June, Tuesday11th June or Wednesday 12th June in the Support Base. Thank you.
S5/6 College Pupils – College courses begin next week. All pupils on courses should attend College for their double periods from then. Travel plans can be collected from the Office.
S4 Childcare Group – The report to Childcare course begins on Monday and the College Lecturer will be in school. The classroom for this is to be confirmed and pupils should check at the Office on Monday.
St Madoes Sports Day – St Madoes are looking for ex pupils in S4-S6 to help at their Sports Day. Please see Mr McDougall in the new P.E building for more information. Thank you.
