S5/6 Pupils – Children in Need – As you may be aware, one of our senior students, Zuhair is currently working with BBC Children in Need as one of their “Surprise Squad”.  This is a group of 5 inspirational young people who have worked with Children in Need charities.  At the moment Zuhair is travelling the country to take part in fundraising challenges to support communities and young people across the UK.  Please watch the video attached here for more information about the work that Zuhair is doing, it is very moving and certainly gives an insight into why this is so important to him.

To show our pride in Zuhair and our support for his fundraising efforts, we invite staff and senior pupils to take part in a bake sale on Friday 18th November.  The event will take place in the senior concourse at break time as Zuhair’s peers are also keen to get behind the fundraising efforts.  Entry will be £2, and we would ask for any donations of cake, biscuits or other treats that we could all enjoy together (if all donations could be placed in the staff room on Friday morning or given to Mrs McMahon that would be very much appreciated).   If any students would be happy to help with the event on Friday, please do get in contact with Mrs McMahon or Kym and Jamie our Head Prefects.

We will also have donation buckets available on the day if people wish to donate in this way.
