Rugby Under 16 Squad – The players from Perth high representing PHS/PA in today’s cup game vs Monifieth has been put up in the new PE dept just as you come in on the right hand side on the blue notice board. Please can all players selected attend a meeting TODAY at morning break time in the new PE dept to get vital information regarding the game. Any issues, please speak to Mr Dearden.

Astroturf – The astroturf will be closed to pupils on Wednesdays at lunchtime as it is being used by one of the school football teams at this time. Pupils wishing to play football over lunch will have access to the grass pitches.
Netball – No training on this week due to games/meetings. S3 and Senior 1 (S5/6) both have games at Bell’s at 4.30pm. Meet Miss Allan and Miss Hardie there at 4.15pm. See Miss Hardie for a dress on Wednesday. If you can’t play see us ASAP.
All Captains see Miss Hardie ASAP regarding a presentation on Friday.
Textiles Club is cancelled this week, it will be on again as usual next Thursday 4pm-5pm.
Tayside Schools Swimming – Can you please give your Tayside Schools times to Mrs Duncan in the new PE hall by lunchtime TODAY! Please also collect a consent form and see the information for your events in the new PE hall foyer on the left hand wall.
S2 Football Training – S2 football training will start up again on Tuesday 3 September from 3.45 – 5.00. It will now run each Tuesday on the Astro pitch. Please bring appropriate kit. All pupils are welcome including those who played last year and anyone who would like to start this year. Matches will be organised during the year with teams being selected from those who attend training regularly.

CHOIR – Mr Kelman’s Choir meets on Wednesday lunchtimes in room G19. If you enjoy singing, just come along with your lunch at 1.15pm – we start singing at 1.30. You will all be made more than welcome. Looking forward to seeing you all there.

BLOOD DONATION – Meeting for s6 pupils interested in giving blood will take place on Wednesday period 3 in the senior concourse. This does not mean you have to go ahead. It is an information session. You must be 17 on the 23rd September to be eligible. A representative from the NHS blood donation service will be there to answer all questions and worries.
Ultimate Frisbee – The school Ultimate Frisbee club starts back this Thursday (5th Sep) after school, meeting in the old sports hall from 3:45-5pm.
The club is open to any year group, all abilities, and anyone who tried out Ultimate on their Active Day is especially welcome to come along.

For all Pupils – There is a meeting on Wednesday 11th September during personal support and period 1 for all pupils involved in the pupil chaplaincy team. We are also looking for new members to join the team and to share ideas, thoughts and skills. If you are interested in being a part of the team or want to know more, please come and see Mrs Black in Music (G20) for more information.

All Pupils/Staff – To celebrate ‘National Read a Book Day’ we are hosting another Readaxation event in the library which is on Wednesday 4th of September at 1.15pm. Staff and pupils are welcome to come and take part. Do bring along your snacks/lunch to this event. Staff and pupils can earn points again for their house for taking part in the event. Readaxation = relax and read in the library: no computers, no tech, no blether, just you, a book and peace & quiet.
