03 May

Please check out today’s bulletin here.  Thank you.

SQA Exams – Please inform all pupils that during the next month, access to the Senior Dining Hall is from the outside route only.  Pupils must not go across the foyer in front of the Assembly Hall (including when they leave the Dining Hall).   Pupils should not be in the area outside the Assembly Hall at interval or lunch times as this is seriously disruptive to the exams taking place.

S3 Pupils Applying to Childcare – All S3 pupils who have applied to do Childcare during S4 should attend a group interview with a lecturer from Perth College in Room G2 at the start of period 1 on Tuesday 8th May.  Any pupil who is not able to attend must speak with Mr Murray or Miss Sorbie.

DofE Association Charity Shop – Donations Request – After the success of last year’s Charity Shop, we are planning another one in November this year.  We are looking for donations now (and until then) to ensure we have enough stock to keep us going for the week and raise as much money as possible.  We are after for the usual suspects – priceless antiques, clothes, household items, bric-a-brac, arts and crafts, toys, books, furniture, jewellery, unwanted gifts, prizes for the Tombola, Lucky Dip and Raffle.  This money will go directly to supporting all of the DofE groups so, please spread the word to all your volunteers, participants, friends, neighbours, colleagues and family.  It is the perfect excuse for a spring clear out, so declutter your drawers and Feng Shui your cupboards for a great cause!

All donations can be left with Susannah Coventry, Learning Support.

Fundraising 5K for Teenage Cancer Trust – A massive thank you and well done to all pupils and staff who ran or walked the 5K on Saturday morning. There were over 80 participants from Perth High School which is an amazing turn out!

Thanks also to those who have already handed in sponsorship money – we’ve already collected over £1000 (with some pupils raising over £100), so hopefully we are well on our way to our target of £2600.

Any sponsorship money collected can be handed in to your support class teacher (if you are in a Balmanno support class) or to Dr Jones in room 2.18 for everyone else.

Dr Jones
