Cheerleading Course – A Basic Cheer 1+2 course is running at the allstars club venue in Perth.

Open to pupils aged 16+

No experience necessary

Over two, 2 hour sessions

Small test at the end of the second night.

Silver DofE Expeditions – All pupils who earned a place on Silver DofE expedition programme should attend a meeting today at 1:30 in the Hall.  We will be organising the exped groups and issuing consent forms.  DO NOT MISS IT!

Perth and Kinross Cross Country Championships – The Perth and Kinross Cross Country Championships will take place on Wednesday the 28th of February. The course is a scenic 1-3 miles around Scone Racecourse. Could anyone interested in taking part come and see Mr Sutherland in PE this week to find out more and collect a permission slip.

All S5 pupils – Corpus Christi College Christopher Marlowe Essay Prize for English 2018 – The English Department is promoting a new competition which involves writing a 1500 – 2500 word essay answering one of the following questions:


  • Discuss the importance of space and place in any of Shakespeare’s plays and poems.
  • Discuss one of the following in any literary work or works of your choice:
  1. Visual culture
  2. Sexuality
  3. Travel
  4. Furniture
  5. Animals
  6. Punctuation
  7. Ecology
  • Is the study of literary works a social good?


The top prize is £300 and an invite to attend a prize winners’ lunch at Corpus College in Cambridge. If interested see Miss Hynd in room 4.4.
