2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup – The FIFA Women’s World Cup will take place this coming summer in France and Scotland have qualified!  Scotland have been drawn into a group with Argentina, Japan and England.  We have been given the opportunity to arrange a trip to France to attend Scotland versus England in Nice on the 9th of June.  We will only be able to run this trip if we have a good number of pupils interested in going.  If you would be interested in this trip please attend a meeting in the PE department on Thursday at break time to put your name down and express an interest.  If you are unable to attend this meeting please speak to Mr Robinson in PE or Miss Armstrong in Biology to put your name on the list of interested pupils.

ROTARY YOUTH LEADERSHIP AWARD CAMP (RYLA) – 2019 – The RYLA experience is run as a leadership development course so will be of huge value to participants in their future lives. Successful applicants will need to demonstrate some leadership potential which will be further developed during the camp. Interviews will identify those candidates who would benefit the most from this opportunity, as opposed to those who may already have developed and demonstrated these skills to a high level. If you are interested, see Mr Kirk in G14 for an application form. Application deadline is the 31st December 2018.
