All Pupils – Euro 2020 Fantasy Football -The countdown to Euro 2020 is on with less than two weeks to kick off. Here’s your opportunity to show everyone how knowledgeable you are about your football by participating in the Perth High Euro 2020 Fantasy Football competition. All you need to do is download the official UEFA Euro 2020 app to your phone/tablet, hit fantasy at the bottom of your screen, select a team of players you think is worthy of winning you the competition and enter the code 32NSGDYW08 to enter the Perth High School League. FAO: S3-S5 Pupils – School Sport Leadership Pathway – Each year, Active Schools provide recognised leadership courses for pupils across Perth & Kinross, setting them on their leadership journey. If you are interested in doing some sports leadership courses in the summer then we would encourage you to sign up. The range of courses we are offering this summer include: Dance Leadership Level 4 & Level 5, Introduction to Netball Umpiring as well as Sports Leadership Level 4 & Level 5. All Pupils – “Interhouse Scholympics” – There will be 5 events across the 5 school days to test balance, agility, speed and brain power. These events will take place during lunchtimes both inside and outside the school building. The events are:-
• Hula Hussle
• Tower Trumps
• High Hoops
• Longish Leap
• Handstand Hold
Each year group will have the change to take part in each event across the week to earn interhouse points. As always in each event you do, you will earn 1 participation point and additional points will be awarded to the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of each year group in each event. Events and places will be confirmed in the bulletin/interhouse google classroom on each of the days. Please wear appropriate clothing/footwear to take part otherwise you may not be allowed to participate.

Charity – Mr Dearden in PE is completing an IRONMAN Triathlon on 12th June to raise money for MND Scotland. Other members of the school community are taking part in teams over the course of that week as well which is fantastic. Current S3 Pupils: College opportunities for current S3 pupils moving into S4 next session – College link courses will be available to S4 pupils next session. These classes will run at Perth College on a Monday afternoon during core PE or PSE/RME periods. This will allow pupils to achieve an additional award without any disruption to their 7 National Qualifications in their chosen subjects. Places are still available for the following college link courses:-
• National 4 Hairdressing
• Passport to Childcare (National 4)
If you wish to apply for one of these courses (and have not already done so) please – 1. register your name with either Mrs Martin or Mr Murray asap; and 2. attend room 3.2 on Friday 11th June, period 1 where Mr Murray/Mrs Martin will assist with applications. If you are unable to attend period 1 on Friday, please speak to Mrs Martin or Mr Murray without delay.
