NEWCASTLE TRIP – Due to the high demand for the Newcastle trip, we have decided to prioritise senior pupils for this trip and run a similar trip that will prioritise the junior pupils before Christmas. If spaces become available, some junior pupils may be included so keep a look out on the bulletin! If you have been chosen to attend the trip (below), can you please get a permission slip from Mr Dick or Mr Dearden ASAP. Thanks everyone.

S3 ART & DESIGN PUPILS – SUPPORTED STUDY EVERY WEDNESDAY BEGINNING 28TH AUGUST

S3 Art & Design pupils are invited to attend Supported Study every Wednesday at 13:25 (bring your lunch) to spend time developing your portraiture drawing skills, with the opportunity to enter your work into the “Rotary Club Young Artist Competition 2024”. There are a range of prizes available and, if successful, your work will be professionally displayed in an exhibition.

S1 & S2 pupils are invited to attend Art & Design Supported Study every Wednesday at 13.25 (bring your lunch) to spend time developing your expressive drawing skills and have the chance to enter your work into the “GWCT Schools Art Competition 2024”. There are a range of prizes available for winning artworks and a prizegiving event at Fingask Castle.

S1- S6 Volleyball – pupils are all welcome along to the Volleyball afterschool club. It’s on in the New Games Hall on a Tuesday afterschool – no experience necessary – any level of player welcome. We have two coaches taking this club so the more the merrier. If you have any questions please see Mr. Paul or Miss Fillingham in PE.

S1/S2 pupils Basketball – We have a new basketball session on a Monday lunchtime in the New Games Hall – The club will be run by Mr Childs and a couple of senior pupil volunteers. Come along to get an introduction to this great game – any questions see Mr. Paul or Mr. Childs in the PE Dept.

S1-S3 Drama Club is back!!! S1-S3 Drama club will be back up and running on a Wednesday lunchtime starting 4th September. The club is run by our amazing seniors and has been incredibly popular in past years so please use the sign-up sheet outside Drama to ensure you have a spot. Come along and take part in fun Drama games, explore improvisation work and scripts in addition to learning how to use the production areas such as lighting and costume. If you want to know more about what we do before coming along then pop in and speak to Miss Dewar in G7. The club will run from 1:40-2:10 every week in G7.
