ASTRO- LUNCHTIME – Unfortunately, we have started to notice a deterioration in the amount of litter being left on the Astro-turf, particularly after lunch.  This effects all P.E. classes and falls under the school rule of RESPECT.  In order to try and help the litter situation, the following steps will be put in place:

  • The Astro will not open until 1.30pm.  This means that all pupils should eat their lunch before they enter the Astro-turf, and litter should be placed in the bins around the school.
  • Bin bags will be given to each group of pupils, at each goal.  Each group is responsible for putting all their litter in their black bag provided.
  • If the litter is bad at your football goal, designated senior pupils will come and inform a member of P.E. staff.  Your group will then not be allowed on the Astro the following day.

We want you to use the Astro-turf at lunchtimes, but only if you and your classmates can RESPECT the space.
